Although I’m a minimalist in most areas of life, I’m not going to pretend this applies to my shoe collection. I thoroughly enjoy wearing all my shoes! I think I rely on footwear to elevate my style because I dress in very neutral colors and simple styles.
If you read my book, you know I've have a thing for gold shoes ever since reading the children’s book "The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes" by DuBose Hayward. Those Des Petits Hauts shoes I mentioned the other day are definitely my favorites. I think all the shoes here tie in nicely with my summer vacation-style vibe. The Veja sneakers are great for walking the dogs as they are reasonably comfortable and go with everything. They are definitely not for real exercise! The clogs are Swedish Hasbeens and are 5-6 years old. They are super comfortable and fun…especially the red pair.
